For all COIL workshops pre-registration is suggested 2 days prior to the start date to ensure your space. Space is limited for each workshop, please try to pre-register in advance. All workshops are subject to cancellation or postponement. For late additions to workshops, please call in advance before dropping in. Thank you!



 

 

Pilates for Parents and Kids with Erin

Enjoy some quality time making memories with your child as we connect to our core and learn how to move with strength and balance. We will laugh and have fun as we learn the fundamentals of Pilates and how it was intended to help all ages, shapes, and sizes to bring balance to their bodies.

Bring a mat for you and your child, wear comfortable clothing, and unwind as we learn deeper connections together.

This practice is open to all levels. Recommended for children ages 5 and up.

Empower yourself and nurture your body during your pregnancy with Yoga. This workshop will explore ways to bring strength, comfort, peace and relaxation to you doing your pregnancy. Guided breathing exercises along with traditional Yoga postures and restorative poses will be tailored to meet the needs and capabilities of each woman. This workshop will also explore how to use Yoga to ease childbirth. Come and enjoy nurturing support from other moms, and your COIL Yoga instructor!

Intro to Yoga Weekend Workshop with Sharon

Discover the enchantment of Yoga by immersing yourself in a workshop designed for students with little or no experience in Yoga. This workshop offers a basic foundation from which you can build an ingoing Yoga practice. During this workshop, you will learn about the basic breathing techniques used in Yoga, explore the architecture of essential postures, the health benefits of Yoga, some Sanskrit (the language of Yoga) and much more.

You will come away from this workshop with enough knowledge to feel comfortable attending any yoga class. Yoga has the potential to profoundly impact the quality of life for the consistent practitioner. Learning to manage stress, enhance flexibility, strength, and increase energy are just a few of the benefits. Begin your journey to a more Conscious, Open, Integrated Life at COIL Yoga.

New Year, New You! Core Strengthening Workshop and Natural Body Cleansing with Erin
Saturday | January 21, February 25 or March 11   Erin
2:00 - 4:00 pm
$25 per student

In this workshop we will explore a small part of the bigger universe of biomechanics, as experienced through proper body mechanics. We will take a look at how we are in our foundations; how we stand, how we sit, our daily movement habits and even how we approach some of our stretching. We will adjust some long held habits that may not be serving our long term health goals as we work with some bio-mechanical exercises and stretches to support the necessary shifts. This work will be intertwined within a general Therapeutic style yoga class. The workshop will conclude with a relaxing restorative yoga sequence and a warm lymphatic oil massage technique for deep rejuvenation.

Bring a notebook and take some notes! Bringing this work home with you and launching into more supportive daily movement patterns may be that missing ingredient to better health and longevity.

This workshop is open to All Levels.

Valentine's Day Partner Yoga with Katie and Jason

This practice involves laughter, joy, connection and learning how to support the other in supported yoga postures, gentle assisted stretching and partner work. NO experience with Yoga is necessary. Space will be limited to 12 couples so pre-registration is required.
